In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. For you created my inmost being you knit me together in my mother’s womb. They help us to fulfill God’s plan.Īs mature Christians, we develop the ability to look beyond our selfishness and understand true love-not the world's false idea of love, but agape love-a love that sacrifices just as the Savior sacrificed when He died for our sins. Join me with my special guest, my son Mack, for this special time thinking about how God created each one of us in our mothers’ wombs. We will all go through suffering and trials on this earth, but these things serve to mature us as Christ followers. He uses the Holy Spirit, Scripture and life experiences to shape us, to mold us into our best selves and to be like Jesus Christ. When we become Christians, we agree to serve God and He gives each of us spiritual gifts through the Holy Spirit. We are invited to have a personal, eternal relationship with Him, according to John 3:1. So why are we here? Ephesians 1:11–12 clearly states that we exist to bring glory to God. He even determined the number of days we each will live. No two of us are alike because God created each of us with a unique purpose and destiny in mind. We each have our own characteristics, personality, desires, strengths and weaknesses. We have similar capacities, such as ability to think, reason and make decisions. We each have a heart, lungs, eyes, ears, etc. Humans share many things in common such as body design. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.” I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made your works are wonderful, I know that full well. “For you created my inmost being you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
